各位老师、家长、学生和同事们:

大家好！ 我是青岛盟诺学校校长郑艳, 在这里给大家拜年了！

Dear teachers, parents, students and colleagues,

I am Zora, the Head of School for Qingdao Menaul School, and I'm here to wish you a happy new year！

策马扬鞭辞旧岁，喜气洋洋迎新年。我们走过了忙碌多彩的2019年，迎来了充满生机的2020年。在新春佳节来临之际，我向青岛盟诺校委会、向这一年来无私奉献和辛苦工作的全体员工致以节日的问候，祝大家新年快乐！

Bid farewell to the old year an beam in the New Year. We have gone through a busy but colorful 2019 and ushered in a vibrant 2020. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, I would like to express my best wishes and greetings to the Board of Menaul school, and to all the staff members who have devoted and dedicated themselves to hard work in the past year. I wish everyone a happy New Year!

2019年虽然已经离我们而去，但回首而望，这一年是学校迎难而上的一年，是我们迅速成长的一年，更是大家面对挑战勇于开拓进取的一年。通过全体员工的不懈努力和辛勤付出，盟诺学校取得了一个又一个好成绩。

Although 2019 has passed by, looking back, we can see that this year has been a year for our school to face difficulties bravely, a year for us to grow rapidly, and a year for us to forge ahead courageously in the face of challenges. In our unremitting efforts and endeavors, Menaul has made remarkable achieve-ments in all aspect.

“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来”，不经历风雨如何见彩虹？而真正支持我们走到现在的，正是我今天要说的主题——梦想与担当。每个人都有梦想，而我的梦想是和大家一起，把盟诺打造成一个受人尊重的学校。那么什么叫受人尊重？就是当你非常自豪地告诉你的家人、朋友“我在青岛盟诺学校工作”时，他们会望向你，并投以羡慕和崇敬的目光。这就是我们要一起打造的一所受人尊敬、被人敬仰的学校：

April showers bring May flowers. Rainbow hasn't been seen until someone has experienced di-fficulties. And what really inspired and motivated us is what I want to talk about today – dreams and responsibility. Every-one has a dream, and my dream is to work with everyone to build Menaul into a respectable school. So, what is respectable? Perhaps it is when we tell your family and friends that “ we work at Qingdao Menaul school", then they reply by saying that they are both proud and envious of us. This is the kind of respectable school we're going to build together:

作为一名盟诺人，我希望每个人都能彼此信任，相互关怀。信任与关怀使我们每个人以诚相待，和谐团结的前提，更是发挥团队力量的基础。目前，我们部门间的合作与沟通较去年取得了很大的进步，还有很大提高空间。既然我们为了一个共同的梦想走到了一起，那么，我希望我们每一个人、每一个部门在合作时，都能站在一个共同的立场来思考和解决问题，我希望新的一年我们都能有一颗宽容的心，互相帮助、互相支持。

As a Menauler, I hope everyone can trust and care for each other since trust and care are the premise of sincerity, harmony, and unity. In addition, they are the basis of team strength. At present, the cooperation and communication among our de-partments has been more efficient than last year, but there is still much more to be improved. And since we are here to chase for the same dream and achieve one same goal, I hope each of us, and each department can handle problems we will meet in the following year hand in hand. Also, I believe we can be more tolerant of each other, help and support each other in the coming year.

展望新年，我们即将面临新的机遇和更大的挑战，希望大家互相配合，继续努力，以新的姿态谱写新的篇章。我相信，2020年的盟诺学校将会是百尺竿头更进一步，在激烈的市场竞争中继续领衔佼佼者的地位，继续谱写不可被逾越的辉煌。

Looking forward to the New Year, we are faced with new oppor-tunities as well as greater challenges. I hope we will co-operate with each other, continue to work hard and achieve more with a new attitude. I believe that in 2020, Menaul school will make further progress, continue to play a leading role in a fiercely competitive market, and continue to make unsurpassed achieve-ments.
